
THE CONTINUING TRAINING OF OUR EMPLOYEES: A WINNING CHOICE!
CESAF - as always - aims at the growth of its employees, both in terms of high skills and specific tasks.
The training of its employees has for years been an important foundation in the working landscape of our country. Constantly updating the knowledge and skills of staff, investing more and more in training, is a choice that always proves to be winning.
Only in the last 12 months our employees have participated in training courses aimed at raising awareness of their skills, courses on leadership, seminars on emotional awareness, etc.
A specific training was organized about the use of the Microsoft Project program - the main software tool for planning and structured organization of Project Management activities - and a training for the advanced use of the Excel program.
Last in chronological terms, the training course dedicated to international shipments of goods classified as dangerous for maritime transport. Participating personnel (logistics and warehouse) were provided with fundamental notions regarding handling, storage, packaging, labeling, loading into containers and drafting of documents necessary for shipments of this kind.
Finally, in the coming days, the dedicated CESAF staff will participate in the training course on the procedure for issuing certificates of origin in electronic form. The Ministry of Economic Development has established that - starting from June 2019 - the certificates of non-preferential origin of the goods must be made by the companies exclusively and compulsorily by electronic means; not only: the operators will be trained to use the Cert'ò program, a reference application for telematic applications.
We believe that the advantages that are obtained from the continuous and constant updating of personnel are undoubtedly multiple. Even if the investment turns out to be consistent, there will always be a "convenient return" for the company:
- productivity increases: with increased skills and training of employees, Company’s performance improves;
- competitiveness increases: training courses make it possible to keep up with the times (always faster) and with changes in all fields;
- participation improves: the company, investing in continuous training, demonstrates a higher consideration of its staff, making them feel a valuable resource to rely on.
