AFTER THE COMPLETE RESTORATION, WE ARE ABOUT TO HANDOVER THE MANAGERIAL BUILDING OF THE LIBERIA AIRPORT AUTHORITY
We now are at the punch lines! A few more retouches and finishes and soon the building placed in Roberts International Airport, Robertsfield, Lower Margibi County can be handed over to the Client!
The existing structure - originally intended as goods depot only - has been completely restored, modernized and transformed. On the first floor we created the new managerial office of the LAA, while the ground floor was converted in offices and an annex used as depot warehouse for the airline companies currently operating in Liberia.
Materials used come from the European as well as from the local market. Just to make an example, the wood used for the internal doors comes from the rubber tree. This decision provides for an optimal mix and a winning result, pleasant in terms of aesthetics and functional too. We can say that we reached the perfect balance between local and western architecture.
On January 2017 we were honored with the visit of His Excellency the President George Weah who expressed his delight for works completed. What the video in the dedicated section!
Needless to say that we are proud of his valuable speech on our work but we leave it to your judgment. For a better comprehension of the activities carried out and of the efforts made, have a look at the images below showing the building before and after the works.
Just a few more strains and retouches and then we are ready for the official handover of the building!
